BookCasePress and BABE2017

I am really delighted to announce that myself and Noriko Suzuki Bosco have set up an independent small pubishing press, BookCasePress. We aim to use the book form to investigate different ways of making and sharing our collaborative practice by creating a portable library. We will be launching a series of events in the near future, but in the meantime please visit our website, or come and see us in person at at BABE 2017, Bristol Artists Book Event. Saturday 01 April 2017 to Sunday 02 April 2017, 11:00 to 18:00 (Closes at 5pm on Sunday)

This will be the sixth biennial festival of artist book making, featuring the work of bookmakers and small presses from around the world. Since 2007, BABE has established a great reputation as a relaxed and friendly event to meet and chat to book artists about their work and buy works of art. There will be more than 80 makers taking part, performances, interventions, talks and workshops across the weekend. Artists are from all over the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Norway and South Korea:.

You can find BookCasePress on the ground floor. We will have a selection of our books as well as being part of the passport scheme and running a workshop on Saturday afternoon. Details are on the Arnolfini website.
